So an ‘80s or early ‘90s luxury car?

Awesome. Sending this to my dad, one of the world’s foremost unpaid experts on the B-36 :D

You can see this plane at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton. One thing the you don’t appreciate until you see it is that those tires are huge. I believe among the largest produced for aircraft.....

Yep, so I’ve heard. They went with simple 2-wheel arrangements on the main gear (I know there’s a reason, can’t recall...) which is extremely strange for a plane this size.

My mom has a picture of me next to the nose wheel there when I was 10 (would’ve been mid-80's when just the wheel was on display in the main building), and I could barely reach the top of the hub.

Sad they haven’t got to the mc.200 Saetta yet. So much more passion and soul than other countries’ fighters. Guess I’ll just settle for wasting time in the A-10 and P-61 if I have too.
